Quite a bit of a change for me this week.
Not a lot of travel.... except to and from work.

Sort of a new commute to the office....  (I was stuck in traffic, not moving when I took this picture).

Temporary parking spot until I get settled.

This is my preferred and usual method of transportation when commuting to work. Seattle has an amazing Light Rail system.

But what is so different?

Officially, a new position!

But when I'm not in the office, I like to spend time at home with my furry friends. Here are some shots of Cleo, Phineas and Lily.

And, of course sitting by the fire with hot tea and a good book!

Remember....

Have a great week!

A really quick week here! I'm not sure where the time goes....  Spring brings all kinds of new. At work, the catering department showcased the new seasonal change menu for our flights. They work so hard to come up with tasty meals that can be re-heated in a tiny oven 30,000 feet above the Earth. My latest kitchen activities have lead to my new favorite treat. Dehydrated snacks! Apple slices.... Grapes.... also know as RAISINS! These are from red grapes. I also did some green grapes but ate all of them before I remembered to take a picture.... oops. Banana spears.  My plan is to try peaches, pears and pretty much any other fruit I love. The weather this week has been magnificent! Sunshine and longer daylight allows me to get out and walk about town. Seattle has some pretty interesting regular city utility pieces. The flowers are starting to peak out as well. I can't wait until they are out in full bloom. These are some of the cherry blossoms just outside my condo. This is...
A quick road trip! In order to continue working as a paramedic, one must keep up with the ever changing practice of medicine. We took a short and quick trip down to central Oregon to participate in a Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Saving (PHTLS) course. The drive was uneventful and in the dark. But the view from our hotel in the morning was glorious. We took a quick stroll to stretch out before having to be in a classroom for 8 hours. I'm not sure what this tree is, but they are all over the place here.   Gorgeous, vibrant blooms! And during the lunch time stroll I came across these beauties. The bright colors just draw me to them! After (successfully!) completing our class, we enjoyed some of the backroads for our drive back home. We came across this phenomenon called murmuration. Absolutely fascinating!       It's mesmerizing to watch. And then, of course, we saw some mountains. Still snow covered and always majestic. Mount Hood Mount Saint Helen Get out, enjo...
