We started the week with a final day of touring around Stockholm. There are so many beautiful sights to see and museums to visit!
Just one of the many Royal carriages on display at the Royal Armory.Later in the day, we visited the Viking museum and the Spirits museum.
An early morning trek across this pedestrian bridge get to the station from our hotel. Most of the streets were lit up with bright lights.
Then another train ride. This time, going south from Stockholm to Copenhagen. It was a smooth ride and much shorter.
Espresso House. I finally broke down and had coffee and a snack, also known as Fika, at the European version of Starbucks. It was delicious.
Cycling is a way of life in Copenhagen. There are more bicycles than people in this country! It's cold and snowy and I am prone to accidents, so I stuck with the train system to get around.

Our initial plan was to go to the Blue Lagoon for spa day. But, because of the recent volcanic eruption they were closed. Our back up plan was Sky Lagoon. It was close to town and significantly more cost effective. It was still snowing and made for some fun pictures.
After some time in the thermal pools, a salt scrub, visits to the steam room and sauna, food was next. A light lunch with wine and coffee. This is the typical lunch (and sometimes dinner) in Iceland.
